Paul Langosch

Paul Langosch began his studies in double bass with Albert Webster of the National Symphony and later continued private lessons with William Vaughn, also of the National Symphony. He began his college studies at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD, Later attending American University in Washington, DC and the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL.

Paul has worked with many of the leaders in the jazz world including: Phil Woods, Tal Farlow, Al Cohn, Mose Allison, Johnny Hartman, Bud Shank, Zoot Sims, Barney Kessel and Herb Ellis.

Paul’s touring credits include tours with Jon Hendricks, George Shearing, Rosemary Clooney, Mel Torme, Susanna McCorkle and Conte Candoli.

Paul has been touring with Tony Bennett as member of the Ralph Sharon Trio from 1985 to 1993 and 1997 to the present. During that time the trio recorded six albums with Tony and performed an average of 200 concerts per year. Included in these concerts were multiple tours in Japan, South America, Europe and Great Britain & Australia.
